Seymour came to us late in his life. He was Ash’s father’s cat who came to live with us when her father passed away. Seymour is older, about 15 years old. You would never guess it though, he and our youngest cat, Winnie, are besties and play so well together. Seymour was always Seymour, but once he became our cat, he needed a middle name (all our animals have middle names), with both of us being the elder millennials we are, it seemed that there was really only 1 option for his middle name. Seymour is such a joy to have, he really has the personality of an old man which we thought went so with the young and dumb Jack Barkley.

Jack is our real life pupper, his name truly is Jack Barkley. We got Jack, and his literate sister, Oswyn, when they were just about 5 or 6 weeks old. Jack is a unique pup to say the least, we often joke about him being the dog version of Jack from “ Will & Grace”, just a little dumb and very . . . eccentric. Jack loves his people, his cats, car rides, hikes, and the idea of water (not actually getting in the water). Jack has his own cat, Jill, who we got for him when he was just a few months old. Jack and Jill remain very close, Jill considers herself to be another pupper and Jack often seems to forget that he actually is indeed a dog, not a cat.
